Miscellaneous Wednesday

Lets catch up shall we… last post was LAST Friday. I had 5 FULL wonderful days off with my princess including the holidays. Been a little caught up lately.

So ill let Instagram do it for me 

we did a little of this and a little of that...

 
I love our little walks especially when Isla insist on bringing a friend and ends up premeditated saying "uh oh" and THEN dropping George. lol!

This little contraption above is wonderful, it by fisher price and its an IPHONE saver. my daughter loves to play "baaaables" (how she says bubbles) on my phone well she usually ends up sucking on it, dropping it. losing it what not so instead this little number saves me. i have different toddler apps she loves to play and learn with i highly recommend this bad boy if you have an iPhone or an i touch your child likes to borrow

 AHHHH Christmas time i love this time of year!!! i have been playing Christmas music in my car and to Isla since before thanksgiving. to see all the lights and her face LIGHT up its self is priceless.

Now don't judge i did bake a little too long BUT in my defense i love crunchy cookies. I love when the whole house fills up with the scent of cookies. enjoyed some chat with milk and cookies with the bestie this past Sunday.

Before the cookies came this, my girlfriend wanted soup, i wanted pizza from Costco HAD to be from Costco! So we ran to Vons got her a ready to heat tortilla soup drove to Costco, got me my fix of their wonderful ice cream bar dipped in chocolate! YUM and she got a churro. seriously i stayed in car while she stood out in line, Isla had fallen asleep so we took turns with her in car. Well i gave her 5 bucks and she came back with 1.00 and change. I LOVE Costco yummies soooo cheap and soooooo GOOD! 

This is hilarious to see she always goes through mommies purse here she was trying to shove this plastic baggie that contained her stroller info. to see her try and lift my purse is soooo silly! she grunts and gets upset so i fake it and help her out a little... 

Daddy took this one of our angel sleeping we were on out way to Grama's to have dinner Monday night. poor baby was tired. she slept a little longer once we arrived in her Mickey mouse pull out couch. 

i just love dressing her she was wearing this number to the right and i added her little sweater and leg warmers in the above picture to keep her warm as it got colder and we ran to the market... so precious! 

Earlier Monday my baby got a booster shot. she cried of course  but quickly composed her self when i said okay lets go bye bye... strong girl, weak mommy! 

then TUESDAY arrived and work UNFORTUNATELY was on my agenda 

This is what i left Tuesday morning :( so peaceful! i HATE leaving her! 

i was already late so i stopped by to grab my favorite MUCH needed drink from coffee bean their seasonal peppermint vanilla latte! YUM! i knew it would be slow at work so i brought along a book i am starting(i know i haven't seen movie i refuse until i finish book) i am on the late train. some magazines: parenting, people style watch(my fave) and Victoria secret holiday catalog. i was set!

Thanksgiving+Blackfriday

Thanksgiving this year was filling in more ways than one! I ate far too much which i anticipated! We started our day off with Brunch at my husbands paternal side and boy did i eat. we had a full feast followed by chocolate chip waffles. pumpkin pie and ROSES from my loving husband. My Mr. wonderful walked in from his turkey bowl(alumni football game) roses in tow! So unexpected. so HIM. he gave me 3 long stem roses, symbolizing our daughter my self and our family what he said he was thankful for. fell in love all over again. we then went to my parents house and didnt eat but we stayed around and hung out for a little while and just enjoyed the company and watching my parents and sister shower my child with love! its amazing to see the present from where we were just last year. Isla was almost 2 months old and there we were isla almost 14 months old! where does the time go? We Then went to my mother in laws home where we walked in to the smell of heaven. In front of us was a table beautifully decorated with harvest colors and tasteful deco and appetizers. can you say spinach dip?!?! yum! Then it was dinner ate FAR too much i am not a big eater so i had to make sure that i overloaded. and that i did. i stuft my face. The squeezed in some lemon bars and more pie! i love me some pumpkin pie We lounged around laughed, talked and watch a movie i was so not in to "super 8" do not recommend. don't watch it. we ended the night relatively early since out little is usually in  bed no later than 8 the latest 8:30 which was okay by us because daddy bear and mama bear where exhausted. Today i really took it easy and was a day that was not "scheduled" we just went with it. Since my little miss is a little under the weather it gots me feeling that way too... so much so i enjoyed  a two hour nap with her today as the  clean laundry was not going to fold it's self. hehe. Tomorrow is another day. We then got dressed and ready for our day around 2Pm and headed out there door lunch in us and ready to take on my errands. We got our stuff done in about two hours and headed home. We played had dinner and enjoyed some mickey mouse club house as we cuddles. we read two books she chose and it was sleepy time for my angel i am sitting here now going through pictures and catching up on her baby book. I love this life i am living...

Last year i gave the biggest thanks of my life. I thanked the lord above for all the blessings he gave me. My biggest being my daughter we got to share our first thanksgiving day with her and as our own little family. Isla was almost two months old short by 3 days. This year i have the privilege to be able to do it once more and although it does not have to be thanksgiving i thank the lord each and every day. Before i close my eyes i pray over my daughter and thank him for her, for him, for my family. The good lord has blessed me in so many ways i don't know how i got so lucky but i wont tire of singing his praises and thanking him for the life i am fortunate to live. This year is a little more special however, this year my daughter gets to eat turkey and all the yummy stuff with us. I get to sit back and watch her run along her little cousins. Can you believe it?!?! Walking amongst them playing laughing, waving saying “hi” and answering “eyelah” when asked her name! This year I am thankful for everything! I am thankful for the air I breathe and the new day I welcome. Isla makes things so special for me I can’t wait to continue to build more memories and traditions with her.  I am thankful!

Isla my dearest Isla,

Thank you for the smiles, thank you for opening my eyes to this fascinating beautiful world. Through you I see things in a new light. I can’t wait to run home to you daily and be received with the “mama’s” and smiles you give me. You don’t really understand just yet the significance of Thanksgiving but daddy and I will make sure you do, And that you are thankful daily. You are a blessed little girl that is surrounded by so much love.  You make our world better in so many ways. I love you through and through!

What in mommy’s bag

So I did a what’s in my diaper bag and thought it would be fun to do a what in MY bag this is also a tag from YT and i love to see what others carry. I get teased because you name it i probably have it in my Purse. I thought would be neat to share too so on to the bag…………….

 

The bag's name is Lanasa    

 dont tell the hubby but the bag is on sale now and he got it for full price... eeek. 

The hubby totally got me this bag and I am in LOVE with it!  I must admit he did good with this little surprise so considerate he got him self a pair of shoes and thought id like a new handbag since I have been complaining I needed a new one since my only good/cute one is falling apart. He said this one didn't feel cheap. lol! i love it! its very spacious and holds a lot! i like big bags and this one sort of reminds me of (and don't judge my analogy the LV speedy bags)   i like Aldo bags.  

 its got two compartments in the front and a zipper on the back i don usually use the little compartments for my phone since that little bandanna looking purple and gold pouch is where i keep my phone. so lets dump it out.......

So there you have it that is what i usually carry with me, at times i carry an extra Binky for desperate measure. i usually carry a book with me but since i just finished my book i am looking for an interesting tittle. I used to carry my make up bag with me but now its just in my car in case i may need to touch up. i was thinking of doing a whats in my travel make up bag but not sure... maybe down the line.

what's in my Diaper bag

I thought that this would be fun…

I like to watch YouTube videos and although they are in video form I thought why not blog it? Well I decided it would be fun enough a picture is worth a thousand words NOT that my pictures of my diaper bag carry so much meaning or anything I feel this way about my pictures of my little and my family to be this way though. Any who enough chatter off to the diaper bag………………………………..

So I got this Diaper bag as a baby shower gift from my brother and his girlfriend. I love it! It has so many compartments and it’s so spacious. I like that its very Fem yet can got either way as far as sex.  So here is the bag 

 The lighting sucks. sorry folks. i don't have a fancy camera or my digital for that matter since Isla got a hold of it :(  it turns on and all but its black you try to take a picture and nada shows up

TADA! very simple and organized. She is in size 3 diapers. We use Pampers, we love them. They are so soft, smell good, and the only ones that don't irritate her! i have a sensitive derriere on my hands. We tried huggies, store brands and they all  give her rashes. So we can only use Pampers products on her little region wipes included. 

Lets Dump it out shall we

extra outfit warm and usually a cool one but with out weather we are needing warm. extra socks and under shirt. boogie wipes loves these! they have saline in them to soothe runny noses.

her little arsenal of necessities:

• baby Advil
• nail clippers
• ointment
• lotion
• SPF
• hair brush
• hair bow,hair tie
• gripe water
• saline drops 
• hand sanitizer 

ear thermometer, extra spoons, a mixer (when she was on formula) which she is still on a few bottles because my daughter seems to be milk intolerant and her Pediatrician asked me to keep her on it until her little rashes  clear and she See's her this upcoming Monday. Diapers. Wipe case. That rolled up pink thing is a neat mat that you can use at restaurants so she is not eating off the table(mommy is a germ a phoebe) looks like this

its AWESOME and easy to carry and clean! and it catches the food... i bought it at BRU  they have different colors i believe mint green and blue :)
attached to my bag i have hand sanitizer and neosporin to go.  on the other side a Binky holder

i carry a  mini first aid kit too loaded with mickey mouse band aids because we all know those make it all better. 

i have  four medical consent forms in case i am not around or out of town and they need to take her to the emergency room and for what ever reason i cant be there in a flash i give these people access to make a medical decision(once they spoke to us of course) if it is life threatening or even just a trip to the ER There is one there for my mommy,sister, mother in law and my husbands grandmother who watches her. 
staying on subject i also have her immunization records(pictured above) and in there is her insurance card, her doctors information along with directions and a phone number to her office. 

when you turn the bag around there is a zipper and there is a fold out or i should say pull out changing pad that goes with the bag and in there you will find a receiving blanket i like to use to put down first before the pad,anal i know! some of those places are YUCK.

i got this at Toys r us i use it to carry her snacks, and food. 

  i have a spare diaper bag in my car trunk with similar stuff in case i am out and about and don't have what i need in my diaper bag  i always have spare stuff.

I get to be with my little for 5 days as of Wednesday

I have a healthy little girl and my little family is perfect. Married to my best friend who loves me unconditionally

Starting our traditions as our own little family

On to the weekend and the pictures

finally saw Breaking Dawn and i am pretty upset i have to wait until November 2012 for part 2! ugh. it was a great weekend with some rain. i loved each minute of it. My little family makes me happy!

 I love looking in my backseat and seeing this.. what a nice view, a few minutes later there was a cute little lady filling that spot...

 THIS  IS COLD FOR US... brrrr coffee in hand, scarf,beanie, and sweater!

 Pumpkin spice filled the room as lavender was being splashed with a tiny little cute booty baby was playing in the tub!

 We did a lot of this... cuddling and and EATING!
